When is it time to change a metal oil tank?

As you can see below this old oil tank was in need of replacing, rusty in places and severely on the wonk as the old base was giving way. 

Fitting a brand new metal tank of a similar capacity, in this case, was straightforward, we also moved the tank further away from the house and tucked it in the corner, much to the delight of the customer.
